For a Laserdisc, the video quality of the disc is quite good. Granted it doesn't
look as good as the DVD version would look, but it's still a damn site better than a VHS
version. Overall I'm happy with
the transfer, it's generally clean and there are very few specks and noise in the print.
The dark scenes seem to be very well rendered. Overall above average.
Mercury Rising is framed at
2:35:1 and is not 16:9
enhanced.
