MOVIE |
This whole movie is one big commercial for Michael Jordan, but it's a good one
at that. To cut the story gist down to a minimum, the 'ol M.J. has retired from basketball
and now he is playing baseball, really badly too.
Meanwhile down at Loony Toon Town where
all the WB cartoon characters live all hell is braking loose. A bunch of little characters
from moron mountain have come down to take all the toons as slaves for their bosses' theme
park, but Bug's convinces them that the toon's need a chance to defend themselves.
So
seeing that they are so small, Bugs decides to challenge them to a basketball game, should
be no problem right, WRONG! The little aliens steal some NBA talent and become really
huge. So in an attempt to beat them, they enlist the help of big 'ol M.J. Will they win?
You'll have to see.
Overall the movie is a very fun watch and is something both parents
and kids alike will love. There is also a few snappy one-liners and movie take-off's
thrown in for good measure. Fun Stuff.

VIDEO |
Overall
the video quality was very good, with little or few noticeable artifacts.
Space Jam is framed at
1:85:1 and is 16:9 enhanced.
This is a single-sided,
single-layer disc.
|
AUDIO |
The movie comes in a few sound formats, the main one is DD5.1 and on the whole
sounds very nice, with good use of the surrounds and occasional use of the .1 channel.
Dialogue was clear and easy to understand. Nice Job WB! There are also numerous other
languages in DD5.1 on the disc as well. A Dolby Surround track is included on the disc for
the Dutch language as well.
|
EXTRAS |
This area is the only main failing of the disc, all that is really included is
your general production notes, trailer, and other info. There are not really any very good
extras at all. The trailer is very well produced though and is encoded in Dolby Surround.
But on the whole I am pretty disappointed with the extra's on the disc.

FINAL THOUGHTS |
A fun all round enjoyable disc, for the family. |
