Filmed in Melbourne this is the story
of Jackie a celebrity chef who turns hero to protect a young
reporter who has secretly filmed a drug deal and murder and now the
bad guys are after them both.
Watch the people and action fly. If
you are after 90 minutes of no-brainer action and fun, there are
worse movies you could watch

This transfer is very soft and has
quite a few film artifacts present as well as MPEG artifacts. Colors
seemed muted also. Shadow detail was acceptable. No MPEG artifacts were present at all.
The original film print is free from defects.
Mr. Nice Guy is framed at 2:35:1 and is
16:9 enhanced. There is a 4:3 version on the flip side.
This is an dual sided, single layer
disc. With the original aspect on one side and the 4:3 transfer on
the other.

The audio is encoded in Dolby
Digital 5.1 and is a very good surround track. Dialog was clear
and the surround speakers were used very effectively. The .1
channel was used to underscore explosions and other than that was
dormant.

A light selection of extras from New Line Extras
Include:
Theatrical Trailer: A sensational trailer. DD5.1 framed at
2:35:1, it sells the movie well and is enjoyable.
Other than a Jackie Chan bio and
filmography there are no other extras.
