The
Fugitive is the story of Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) a doctor who has been found guilty
of the murder of his wife, although he claims to the police that the murder was committed
by a one armed man, but he is not believed and is shafted by the coppers and sent up the
river to be executed.
On route to a maximum security prison the bus he is
traveling in
has an accident and then crashes onto a train line and surprise, surprise along comes a
train which makes for one of the most spectacular crashes ever seen on film, but of course
not before Kimble manages to save a guard and escape.
So where was I oh yes, Kimble escapes and we have enter
stage right Sam Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) in one of the best performances I have seen in
quite a while, who is called in to hunt down Kimble and bring him in.
While being hunted
by Gerard, Kimble takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of his wife's murder and
clear his name, in any way possible. I won't give away the rest of the movie for those of
you who haven't seen it, you are in for a fun movie and a great thriller that will keep
you watching till the very end.
