Father's Day, what a dud vehicle for
Billy Crystal & Robin Williams, the movie starts out with
promise, but just ends up going nowhere, with a few funny scenes chucked in. Jack Lawrence
(Billy Crystal) and Dale Putley (Robin Williams) have never met before and they are about
to find out that each of them is the father of a missing boy. I'll backup a bit.
Each of
them is separately approached by there former lover, played by Nastassia
Kinski. She
explains to each of them that he's there son and he has gone missing and will they find
him. So after about 30 minutes of pissfarting around, the guys finally meet each other
when they realize that there old missus has duped them. Anyway they both agree to search
for junior, and when they finally do they lose him again! Oh chuck in a few bad guys and
WB thinks there is a funny movie in it.
I have one question WB. Where is it? Will
Billy Crystal & Robin Williams find the kid? Who Cares! Watch only if you are recovering from brain surgery. You might
even giggle then. Maybe. Can I go to sleep now.
