Evita is probably one of the best dedicated musicals I have seen converted to
the big screen. 90% of the movie is singing, the musical follows the story of Eva Peron
from a young girl to her death.
Eva Peron is wonderfully played by Madonna
and an excellent supporting cast featuring Antonio Banderas, Jonathan
Pryce & Jimmy Nail make this a well filmed and enjoyable musical.

Terrible. The transfer on both sides is shocking with too many MPEG artifacts to
count. There is too much shimmering going on and the color saturation sucks as does the
contrast.
Evita is Framed at 2:35:1 and is 16:9 enhanced on side A
and there is a 4:3 version on side B.
This is a dual sided, single layer disc.

Again shocking, the Dolby Digital 2.0 sound field sucks, it sounds warped and muddy. The MPEG
soundtrack is also slower than the Dolby Digital mix but sounds just as bad.
