MOVIE
Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro) has stress. His job as a mobster as well as life are getting him down. He enlists the help of shrink Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal) to help him out of his troubles. 

Vitti basically makes his own times to see Sobel for help even if it means throwing a rival hood out of a hotel window on Sobel's wedding day! The movie has a great premise and is pulled off beautifully by Robert De Niro and to a lesser extent Billy Crystal.

VIDEO
This disc was actually authored by WAMO as it was originally a joint venture between Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures. That said the transfer is very nice. The shadow detail was excellent and colors were spot on. There were no MPEG artifacts present and is just slightly below reference quality.

Analyze This! is framed at 1:85:1 and is 16:9 enhanced.

This is a single-sided, single-layer disc.
AUDIO

The soundtrack was a little light on in this one. The surrounds were only used to underscore the music and to complement action sequences. This was mainly a dialog driven movie.

The dialog was crystal clear throughout.

There is an above average set of extras on this disc. Firstly there are cast & crew biographies. On top of that, there is also......

Theatrical Trailer: DD2.0 sound framed at 1:85:1 and is of average quality but is unexciting.

Gag Reel Featurette: This is a collection of outtakes from the movie.

1 Commentary Track: The main commentary includes Billy Crystal and snippets of Robert De Niro. This track sucks badly and is uninteresting. But at least it is present.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Again another solid effort from Village Roadshow. Good picture, good sound., good extras. A nice all round package.
